What we collect

We collect the information you give us when you create an account, build your profile, post on the platform, message other members, RSVP to events, and apply to programmes. We also collect technical information necessary to keep the platform secure and working — IP address, browser type, device.

Why we collect it

To run the platform, surface relevant members to you, send you notifications you've opted into, process payments, and keep everything secure. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Who can see your profile

Other SMBF members. By default your profile is visible to all paying members. You can hide specific sections from non-connections in your account settings.

Cookies

We use the minimum cookies needed to keep you logged in and to understand site usage in aggregate. We use Plausible Analytics — privacy-first, no third-party trackers.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time. Email enquiries@smbf.global to exercise any of these.
