Our vision
We create networks to empower and inspire Muslims globally.
SMBF was established in 2011 to unite the Muslim business and professional community on a single platform — reviving the Islamic tradition of networked commerce drawn from the model of Madinah, where the Prophet ﷺ paired merchants and farmers and established the world's first tax-free market.
Mission
We foster mutually beneficial relationships between Muslim professionals, businesses, and corporate organisations — encouraging trade based on Islamic and ethical principles. We support businesses with B2B services and investment sourcing, professionals with mentorship and employment, and corporate organisations with international expansion and partnerships.
Our four aims
Economically empower the Muslim Ummah through trade. Revive the Sunnah of Muslims working together. Promote Islamic and ethical work and trade practices. Develop local Muslim business ecosystems as part of a unified global network.
